Sourdough Stuffing

Instructions

Prep Time: 20 mins 

Cooking Time: 30 mins


  1. In a large pot, melt the butter with the olive oil. 
  2. Sauté the garlic briefly - 30 - 60 seconds (or until fragrant).
  3. Add the mushrooms – season with salt & pepper – (they will look dry, then wet, then dry)
  4. Add the onion, carrots, and celery – season with salt & pepper – cook until fork tender
  5. Add the Bag of Stuffing, toss quickly, and then begin adding broth, 1 cup at a time.
  6. Stir after adding each cup of broth and continue adding until the mixture looks wet, but not soupy.
  7. Reduce heat and cover until

  • Butter (1 Stick/8 Tbsp)
  • Olive Oil (4 Tbsp)
  • Garlic (6-8 cloves)
  • Onion (2-3 medium/large)
  • Carrots (5-6 full size)
  • Celery (1 bunch/5-6 Stalks)
  • Mushrooms (1 pound of Oyster or Shitake)
  • Stock or broth (3-4 cups)
  • Bag of Stuffing
  • Salt & Pepper
